Legal Seminar on Brain Injury

A legal seminar on brain injury was held Monday, June 26, 2006 at the Wyndham Harrisburg-Hershey Hotel in Harrisburg, PA.

The seminar for lawyers only was presented by the Brain Injury Association of Pennsylvania (BIAPA).

Chair of the event was Stewart L. Cohen, Esq., of the law firm of Cohen, Placitella & Roth. Cohen is also president of the BIAPA.

Title of the seminar was "Understanding the Medical and Legal Aspects of Brain Injury Litigation."

Participants gained an understandingof medical and legal needs of people with traumatic brain injuries, along with understanding the medical science of brain injury, and trial tactics and techniques.

The Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board approved 6.5 credits for the legal seminar on brain injury. A CLE Credit Request Form was required upon registraion.
